The coming trend is centralizing home entertainment using PCs with beefy hard drives built to download, store and manage multimedia. In addition, according to Business 2.0 (12/04) “Silicon Valley venture capital firms have poured nearly $100 million into startups that have devised ways to deliver media to you.” This new wave of products will allow consumers to access the content - videos, photos, and music – stored on their home systems, via a device at their remote location.
